In the past week, the public release of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, an artificial intelligent "bot" has garnered a lot of press and attention. As with many leaps forward in technology, people are struggling to understand the impact it will have on society and in some cases, on their very own lives or livelihoods.

If you ask ChatGPT whether or not AI could have an impact on the field of investment crowdfunding, it will tell you:

"Yes, it is possible that AI could have an impact on the field of investment crowdfunding. AI can be used to process large amounts of data quickly and accurately, which could be useful for analyzing potential investment opportunities and making predictions about their success. Additionally, AI could be used to automate many of the tasks involved in managing a crowdfunding campaign, such as identifying potential investors and tracking progress toward fundraising goals. However, it is also important to consider the potential drawbacks of using AI in this context, such as the potential for bias in decision-making and the need for effective regulation to protect investors."

Not bad! Actually, it's amazing how far AI has come along.

To help the ecosystem community better understand the power of ChatGPT in a social context, we’re introducing our very own CfPA ChatGPT BOT. You can experiment with the ChatGPT technology and submit crowdfunding related questions directly to the BOT https://www.crowdfundingecosystem.com/cfpabot

(Click on the “Ask a Question” button of the BOT’s profile). The BOT will not reply in real time and may not answer every question submitted - but if you’re logged in when you post the question, you’ll be notified when it does respond. You can also +Follow the ChatGPT BOT to see the BOT's latest postings. The responses will come back in an unaltered format. If our human reviewers determine the BOT has responded with something factually wrong, we will delete the posting. If it's a grey area, please let us know in the comments.

We’re entering a new world with the emergence of these AI technologies and we’d welcome your thoughts and feedback as you experiment or interact with the BOT.
