Biography

I run AccessIPOs.com, a website helping ordinary investors own venture-backed startups and participate in IPOs. I'm also the Founder of Retire Before Dad, a blog and YouTube channel about personal finance, DIY investing, and retirement. 

I've invested in multiple real estate crowdfunding and equity crowdfunding deals and writing about it for several years.

There are many parallels between my advocacy for small investors getting access to pre-IPO startups and IPOs, to level the playing field with Wall Street. 

I was an IT consultant for the IRS for 20 years, helping to modernize the tax collection IT infrastructure. In late 2022, I left my IRS IT career to be a full-time online content creator.
